Hot Hollywood Hotels: Renaissance

Minus the gambling, whores, and open container policy, Renaissance is very reminiscent of a hotel you'd find in the city of lights. It offers every imaginable room and ammenity. There are a variety of suites and of course grand penthouses, complete with grand piano, 3,500 square feet and an oversized jacuzzi in the room.

The location of Hollywood and Highland is becoming another trademark intersection in Hollywood. This is partly because of Ryan Seacrest's pop music television show, but also because of the Kodak Centre which offers everything from high end shopping, fine/casual dining, to clubs and grandiose movie theatres.

The Spot: Renaissance is directly next to a club called The Day After. This is a multi-level thriller in the oldest venue in Hollywood. It was newly renovated with an interesting stretched canvas design but still maintains its classic appeal. Grab a table positioned above the main dance floor and gaze at the fine honeys as they shake what their mamas gave em'.

The Restaurant: Renaissance offers Twist Bar and Restaurant. It features Californian cuisine and mid century modern interior design. If you don't feel like Twisting there are sure to be countless spots in the Kodak Centre that will make you shout.

T&A Rating: Renaissance gets a 7. Yes, it's a big hotel with a rooftop pool and great location, but there is no club attached to the property. You better bring some monster game if you're going to lure a trophy catch back to the boat.
